Lawrence McCarthy, Co-Head of Levered Products, has over 20 years of credit trading experience. Prior to joining Chapdelaine Credit Partners, Mr. McCarthy was Head of Proprietary US Distressed Bond and Bank Loan Trading for Lehman Brothers, where he also was Co-Head of the Distressed and Special Situations Department. Mr. McCarthy’s department was rated the #1 Distressed Desk by Greenwich Associates in 2005. Prior to joining Lehman, Mr. McCarthy was a Managing Director at Dresdner Bank (formerly Wasserstein Perella) in their Credit and Equity Trading Group. Mr. McCarthy was the Head of High Yield Trading at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and started the firm’s distressed sales and trading effort. Mr. McCarthy joined DLJ from Chemical Bank, where he started the firm’s High Yield Sales and Trading Group. Mr. McCarthy received a B.S in Finance from Providence College.
